SMS Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to Imasco SMS Notifications, the optional informational messaging programs operated by Imasco Minerals Inc. for consenting recipients in Canada and the United States. Our sending number is +1.866.250.3848.

Our Alert Programs

Imasco Operational Alerts may provide participating employees and other authorized recipients with inventory and production updates, measurement results, equipment or maintenance status, and operational scheduling information.

Imasco Shipment Alerts may provide participating drivers, dispatchers and other authorized recipients with order, pickup and delivery updates, shipment documentation and customs status, delays, corrections and cancellations.

Available programs may change over time. The enrolment process identifies the specific topics you are choosing and their expected frequency. You receive only the topics you expressly agree to. Joining one program does not enrol you in others, and these terms do not authorize all future message types. These programs do not send marketing messages.

Enrolment is Voluntary

You must expressly agree to the selected program and message topics before automated messages begin. We record consent through the applicable form or another disclosed consent process. Supplying a number for another business purpose is not consent. We may ask you to confirm enrolment after receiving your initial permission.

You must own or be authorized to use the number you provide. Tell us if it changes or is reassigned. Consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services or receiving shipment assignments. Contact Imasco or your dispatcher to arrange another communication method.

Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies by program, activity and the updates you select. An event, order or shipment may generate several messages. Imasco does not charge a subscription fee. Message and data rates may apply under your wireless plan, including any applicable roaming charges.

Stop Messages

Reply STOP to +1.866.250.3848 at any time to unsubscribe. One confirmation may follow. STOP ends all Imasco notifications sent from this number to your phone, including programs that share the number. To change only selected subscriptions, contact us by email or phone. You may also withdraw consent through those channels.

Help and Contact

Reply HELP for program contact information, or contact Imasco Minerals Inc. at imasco@imascominerals.com or 604.888.3848. If you have already opted out, use email or phone because an SMS help response may be blocked. Do not use SMS for emergencies or assume replies are continuously monitored.

Rejoining After Stop

Contact us to renew consent for the program you want. If your number is blocked after STOP, text START or UNSTOP to +1.866.250.3848 to allow messages again. YES alone does not clear that block. Unblocking does not enrol you in every Imasco program; we also need your renewed, program-specific consent before alerts resume.

Using the Information Safely

Shipment texts are status updates. Acceptance of shipping or customs documents does not itself confirm customs clearance or authorize movement across a border. Follow instructions from the responsible carrier, dispatcher, broker or authority and confirm status through the required process. Read or respond to messages only when it is safe to do so, including while safely parked if driving.

Operational messages reflect information available at the recorded time and may not reflect later changes. Verify current conditions through the appropriate procedures. SMS must not be the sole basis for safety decisions, equipment shutdowns or emergency action.

Delivery and Availability

Delivery depends on network coverage, your device and service providers. Messages may be delayed, fail to arrive or arrive out of order. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Contact Imasco or your dispatcher directly when a time-sensitive update is needed. Availability may differ by carrier or location.

Privacy and Changes

The SMS Notifications section of our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and retain SMS information, including consent records and replies. We do not sell messaging consent or share it for third-party marketing.

We may update these terms and introduce, change or discontinue programs. Current terms will show their effective date. We will communicate material changes as appropriate. Changes do not expand your existing consent. Before sending messages about a new or materially different subject, we will explain that purpose and obtain any required separate consent.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
April 17, 2026

IMASCO is restructuring its business operations in order to accommodate growth in its core business, the manufacture and distribution of high quality fine and ultrafine ground calcium carbonate.

Effective July 31, 2026 IMASCO will no longer produce or distribute Stucco Products. In order to provide for a smooth cessation, IMASCO will continue to accept orders for stucco products until July 15, 2026. For products listed as requiring a 2 week lead time, such as Artisan finishes, Fog Coat and other specialty items, we will accept orders until June 30th.

During this lengthy transition period we look forward to working together with you to see that your current requirements are met to the best of our abilities. Please note that Imasco will continue to provide technical service and support during this period. Thank you for your business and for your time and attention.

For over 65 years we have serviced Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. The support over the years is greatly appreciated and this restructuring will allow us to focus more on our core business and new opportunities.
